Royal Academy of Cricket brings you with an exciting tournament starting from 17th May until 8th June. Round matches will be completed by 1st June and final will be held on 8th June, 2018.
Ramadan Floodlights Tournament Rules and Regulations
All teams must make sure the following rules are followed in order to make sure we have a successful tournament.
Teams to register 13 players – no player can be changed without prior approval from the organizer and must be in writing with reason
Team must announce 8 players at the start of the match before the toss
Toss for the 2nd and 3rd match will be done 3 overs before the next match to complete
All matches will be start at the time specified in the fixture
Any team coming late, will forfeit the right of toss
Overs will be deducted for the team coming late, 1 over per 5 minutes and management decision is final
If both teams are late, the first team having 7 players will have the right to choose to bat or field and overs will be deducted according to the team arrival
One ball per match will be used
All players must wear the shirt provided by the organizers, in case of no shirt, team will play with the players having the shirt
Players must wear white cricket trouser and no jeans allowed
Only rubber soled sports shoes are allowed
No short pitch deliveries allowed and incase of any short pitch, warning will be given and in the 2nd instance, bowler will not be allowed to bowl again in the match.For each short-pitch 2 runs will be awarded to the batting side and ball will be re-balled.
Helmet is a must for the duration of the game for all batsmen
In case of a walk-over/no Show, SR 200 will be fined and must be paid before the next match
Winning team will get 2 points and in case of a tie super over will be played
If the ball is hit out of the ground, the player will be out and also 5 runs will be minus from the total. If the ball is not returned, SR 25 will be fined to the team hitting the ball out of the ground
Payment of the ball must be done on the day of the match
Bowlers are only allowed 6 yards for the run-up
All teams must respect each other and incase of any dispute, organizer decision will be final
Teams must submit the score sheet completed in full with all details before leaving the ground
8 Players are allowed to field and substitute can only be taken in case of injury
Maximum 2 overs per bowler
6 overs tournament
Any misconduct will deduct 5 runs from the total score as penalty
At the end of the over, batsmen must change ends
Umpires for the match will be the initial judge for the match
The captain of the fielding side or the batter at wicket may query an umpire’s decision. Once the umpire has replied, any further talking to, at or about the umpire, or their decision, maybe penalized
There is no six in the tournament
Boundary will be the straight wall only and if it touches the side wall and it’s the boundary will be a four
If the ball goes out of the ground rolling on the ground, it is not out and player will be awarded 2 runs only
If the ball is hit in the air and it touches any object and goes out of the ground, player will be out and the score will be -5
Wide ball 2 runs will be awarded to batting side
Foot No-ball 2 runs will be awarded to the batting side and there is no free hit
If case of unavoidable circumstance, match is not played both teams will be avoided 1 point each (bad weather, rain etc) Management decision will be final.
There is no refund in case of team withdrawal from the tournament due to any circumstances once registered
