The Pre-Ramadan Cricket Tournament heated up this weekend with thrilling second-round matches. AS Academy received a walkover win against PISESR due to player unavailability on the opposing team. The real nail-biter came in the match between Mavericks and Falcon Next Gen. Falcon won the toss and opted to bat first, putting up a strong total of 199 runs thanks to stellar performances by Raiyaan Khan (36 runs) and Abdul Rafay (36 runs). Sheeraz Ahmed shone brightly, scoring an unbeaten 83 runs off just 48 deliveries. Thanujkrishna and Farhan tried their best to restrict the scoring with 2 and 1 wickets respectively. Chasing a challenging target, Mavericks got off to a promising start with Azain contributing 70 runs and Umer adding 33 before retiring hurt.
