Under the auspices of the Riyadh Cricket Association (RCA), the highly anticipated Pre-Ramadan Tournament for Under 19 is slated to commence on February 17, 2024. The tournament, featuring four formidable teams - PISES, Mavericks, Falcon Next Gen, and AS Academy - promises thrilling cricket action. With each team fielding a squad of 16 players, the format of the tournament will be 20 overs, including a power play period of 6 overs. Additionally, a unique rule has been introduced: if more than 5 wickets fall, the last 3 overs will be played with only 3 players allowed outside the cycle, adding an extra layer of intensity to the game. Aasif Sheikh expressed gratitude towards CEO Nadeem Babar for his unwavering support towards the tournament, as well as acknowledging the cooperation of the RCA management committee in ensuring the success of the event. The pinnacle of the tournament, the final match, is scheduled to take place on March 9th, with teams also vying for the third position.
